Mission Statement

Mancini Duffy is a commercial interior architectural design firm serving a broad spectrum of clients internationally. While our client base is varied, the common denominator has been the desire on the part of our clients to work with a design organization that views office design as an interactive, problem-solving process firmly rooted in their business strategy. We approach each client's design solution as a workplace strategy that, to be successful, must support their business strategy.

Type of work and disciplines represented in the firm

Our work involves the full spectrum of interior architectural services for a wide range of businesses including law, corporate, technology, not-for-profit and communication industries.

Areas of work include:

  • Workplace strategies
  • Strategic planning
  • Design briefing
  • Design and planning
  • Project management
  • Contact documents
  • Construction administration
  • Post-construction assessment.

How the company works with clients and users

Historically, design firms have been viewed as either design focused or management focused. We believe that good design is grounded within a client's budget and schedule parameters. This becomes the essence of what we refer to as design management.

The polarity between design and a client's business objectives has been equally seen as a potential contradiction. At Mancini Duffy, our entire focus is to understand each client's business strategy, including organizational culture: and to develop workplace strategies that facilitate the business objectives of the client, thereby creating workplace solutions supporting business strategies.

Since 1991, we have partnered with our clients to successfully create workplaces that strive to reflect their organizational objectives. Each result is as diverse as the clients themselves. Each is mandated to reflect the uniqueness of each client whether they are in technology, communications, legal, or not-for-profit industries. We have accomplished this through an interactive process that allows us to develop consensus, while defining objectives. It is tempered by a belief on our part that the art of listening is as crucial to the creative act of design as the ability to be creative. It is realized through the dedicated efforts of the professionals at Mancini Duffy who have the breadth of experience necessary to bridge the traditional gaps between design and management, and who share a passion for creating innovative workplace solutions derived from a participative team process.
