Editorial submission guidelines

Editorial Overview

  • @issue: The Journal of Business and Design is specifically published for business leaders, corporate communicators, the design and printing community, and business school students to communicate how design contributes to business success.

  • Article content focuses on the use of product, communication, and building design in business. Articles typically include interviews with CEOs, other senior executives, and internal or consultant designers, examining their relationship in corporate design practice. Articles follow a case study format and must demonstrate measurable business success.

  • @issue: does not contain advertisements.

  • @issue: is published twice yearly on a Spring/Fall basis (May/October)*.

Submissions

@issue: accepts all press releases relating to the use of design in business. Press releases and announcements must be received two months prior to publication (March/August)* for consideration in an upcoming edition.

@issue: DOES NOT ACCEPT announcements concerning the following:

  • Product releases
  • Notice of awards
  • Changes of Personnel/New Hiring
  • Conferences
  • Areas other than the interesction of design, business, or the role of design in business success.
